The National  Literacy  Mission (NLM) defines literacy as acquiring the skill of reading, writing, and arithmetic and the ability to apply them to ones day to day life. UGC NET December 2012 Results Declared

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has declared the result of National Eligibility Test (NET) held on 30th December, 2012.

You can find the results of the UGC NET December 2012 at this link: http://ugcnetonline.in/Result_dec2012.pdf.

About 7.8 lakh candidates registered for this examination out of which about 6.1 lakh candidates appeared for this examination. An UGC Press Release says that "A total of 39,226 candidates have qualified for the eligibility of Lectureship. Out of these 39,226 candidates, 3669 candidates have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)".
